A calmer sidebar and a title bar that stays put
5 November 2026
The Web App’s sidebar and the title bars of all apps changed:
- Each Conversation in the sidebar shows what is happening in it: a pulsing ring while the agent works in it, a question mark while it waits for your answer or Approval, and a solid dot for a new answer you haven’t seen yet. The new-answer dot clears once you open the Conversation, on all your tabs and devices. It never appears for a Turn you stopped, or for a Turn that ended while you had the Conversation open. See What the marks mean.
- Each Conversation is now a single row: the mark, then the title, which gets the full width. Rename and Delete moved into a … menu at the end of each row, reachable by keyboard, replacing the pencil and the bin. The open Conversation’s highlight covers the whole row, and the day you last used a Conversation is no longer shown. See Find your Conversations.
- The sidebar keeps showing Turn running for a Conversation while its Turn runs, also after you switch to another Conversation, and stops within a few seconds of the Turn ending. See Close the tab while the agent works.
- The Conversation search sits behind a search button next to New Conversation and opens when you press it. Escape clears the search and hides the field. After you delete a Conversation, the keyboard focus goes to New Conversation. See Search by title.
- A new Conversation no longer offers starting Suggestions such as Search the web or Remember something; type your first message instead. The Suggestions after each answer are unchanged. See Start from a Suggestion.
- The title bar (app switcher, Tenant switcher, theme, language, account menu) now stays at the top of the screen in the Admin App and the Data Studio when a page is longer than the screen. Tabbing through a long page no longer leaves the focused element hidden behind the title bar. See Switch apps.
- The app switcher no longer opens as a menu with a single entry when the Web App is the only app you can reach. It shows the app’s name as plain text instead. With more than one app, it works as before. See Switch apps.
- The Audit Log, and the Platform Audit Log for Super-admins, no longer show an explanatory subtitle under the heading; the filters follow it directly.
